Smt Urmila Gupta
Service, selfless service only inculcates in a person who has experienced struggles but comes out of it wisely while taking people ahead who are along with them.
Our Patron Smt Urmila Gupta is one such person. Born in 1951 in an orthodox family in a small village where a school was just a noun and not known to anyone, with an attitude of steel she managed to cross social barriers and chose education as her main priority while giving hope to village girls to do the same. In our country which had just achieved its freedom and was still struggling to establish a republic, she managed to complete her schooling along with a master’s degree in Hindi and Economics after marriage with the support of his husband Dr. Subhash Chandra.
During her studies, she remained firm to her roots and achieved NCC Cadets Certificate at that time which is still a dream for many students. She managed to raise all of her children to the mark and made sure education was a topmost priority for all. All three children (two daughters are Doctors and Son, an Engineer) are now well established and successful in respective fields with their cheerful and intelligent and strong offsprings.
It was the will of steel that made it possible, she lost her husband at the age when their love and care started blossoming. With her spouse, she became a member of Rotary Club Pantnagar and worked for many years towards the society and is still an active Rotarian member to support the cause for society.
Her one aspect which is why she is a patron of SwastiSukham is her interest in education and helping everyone around to educate. She has the wisest and clear way of thinking which is practical and applicable in the changing environment.
She is not only a Patron for us but an ambassador and under her influence and guidance, we can help and motivate other women so that they never fall short of confidence in the work they do.

Dr. Archna Gupta is a highly experienced Nutritionist and Dietitian with a career spanning over two decades in the field of therapeutic and preventive healthcare. She is the Founder of SwastiSukham Care Foundation (SSCF), established in 2018 with a mission to promote holistic health, wellness, and happiness in society.
Originally from Gwalior (M.P.), Dr. Archna’s journey took her across seven states of India, shaping her inclusive outlook and deep empathy for people from diverse backgrounds. She holds a Doctorate in Food Technology from Swami Vivekananda University, Sagar (M.P.), a Master’s in Foods & Nutrition from Pantnagar University, a PG Diploma in Nutrition & Dietetics from IHCA Chennai, and has been solving therapeutic cases since 2002.
She currently serves as the Head of Nutrition & Dietetics at Chandra Laxmi Hospital, Ghaziabad, and is associated as a guest faculty and advisor with institutions like IITT Dehradun and Himalayiya University. In addition, she contributes actively to several NGOs and professional bodies, including the Red Cross Society, Nutrition Society of India, and Indian Dietetic Association. She is also a registered whole-body organ donor with AIIMS.
Dr. Archna has worked tirelessly with NGOs since 2007 to combat malnutrition, anaemia, obesity, thyroid disorders, PCOD, diabetes, and other lifestyle diseases. Through SSCF, she created a national platform led by women leaders from different states to raise awareness and deliver impactful interventions at the grassroots level.
One of her key focus areas is Menstrual Health & Hygiene, recognizing the silent suffering women endure for nearly four decades of their lives. She combines scientific knowledge with cultural wisdom to empower women, promote sustainable practices, and conserve natural resources.
Dr. Archna Gupta continues to work with unwavering dedication to make “Health and Happiness” a reality for all — especially for those who need it the most.

Ms. Punam believes the takers may eat better but givers sleep better! She works selflessly to give back to the society, particularly children who aren’t blessed with a secure childhood. She has nurtured her home and two daughters to believe in the value of education. Her motto in life is to love and help everyone to prosper. Her positive attitude has helped to bring change in lives of many people who have been motivated by her energy to pursue their dreams.
She has encouraged and connected women who endeavour for a self-dependent happiness driven life. She has continuously educated children from economically and socially backward backgrounds for free. Her efforts have been fruitful in their improved performance and enhanced keenness to pursue education and build a career for themselves. She has also counselled parents of such special children to ensure continued family support is maintained for them.
Punam understands the role of community in fostering women as strong individuals. She has been regularly involved in community interactions and donations, wherever necessary. She has contributed to ensure social awareness regarding essential issues of hygiene and health for girl child. She is a founder member of SwastiSukham which has benefitted from the combined efforts of Punam and other women who work continuously to ensure a fair and holistic society, particularly for children.

Dr. Monika Gupta is proud alumni of prestigious College of Veterinary Sciences, G.B.Pant Univ.of Agri.&Tech, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. She did her B.V.Sc.&A.H.(1997) & M.V.Sc in Vet.Med,1999. She has working experience of more than 20 years in various arena of veterinary field & from policy decisions to field level. She has technical expertise in various aspects of animal husbandry & disaster management area. She is the recipient of Inspiring Lady Veterinarian Award 2021. Her work was appreciated at various States, Nationals and Global Platforms.
She has given her contributions being active member of various scientific and social forums.
Apart from exemplary professional career, she is Badminton Player & Yoga Expert and innovative food recipe YouTuber (Flavours for Souls).
She strongly believes that we must give back to society, hence take out time for noble work always. Whenever got opportunity, she tried her best even at workplace and at the surrounding community, she hones her capabilities to empower women financially, culturally, and socially independent. Her individuality of giving love, time, and the resources for all in all circumstances was always acknowledged by all who knew her.

Mrs Gupta has acted as a true Covid-Warrior by being active in the help and support of Covid patients, their families, and fellow volunteers. Currently residing in Pune, Maharashtra, her hometown is Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Her husband and family members’ eternal support has been her strength. Social work is her passion and true calling.
